We are absolutely thrilled to tell our amazing community some really exciting news! We've been keeping it under wraps for months, but Applied Coaching for Projects has gone through a huge transformation, and we are now ready to share it with all of you!
From our humble beginnings as a service provider for educators during the pandemic's peak and as a means for Gina, Kristy, and myself to continue collaborating, Applied Coaching for Projects has evolved into much more. This growth, which you all have been a part of by reading our blog posts, downloading our resources, and taking our workshops, has prompted us to reevaluate our identity, leading to a new logo, tagline, mission, and website that better represents who we are today. We are deeply grateful for your support and involvement in this journey.
When we decided to revamp our brand, we intentionally sought professional help. Why? Because even though we are experts in developing professional learning for educators, we are not experts in marketing. Collaborating with this team of experts confirmed that investing in professional guidance is worthwhile when it aligns with your goals and outcomes, just like how professional development can be transformative only if there is regular follow-up that aligns with a school or district's priorities and goals.

The marketing team took the time to understand ACP and asked specific questions about our goals and values. Like any good coach, their questions were simple but deeply probing, leading us to uncover the need for a comprehensive overhaul to communicate what we provide effectively, believe in, and can support. The brand refresh has sparked new creativity within the organization.
The New Logo
Our new logo is more than just a pretty update to us. It represents our ultimate goal of preparing students for graduation and equipping them to face life's challenges through connection, compassion, and community. The logo's design elements, such as the graduation cap and contemporary design, embody our vision of a progressive and inclusive approach to education. The graduation cap symbolizes our commitment to preparing students for their future, while the contemporary design reflects our innovative and forward-thinking approach to education.
Defining Our Areas of Expertise
In my blog post titled "Top 5 PBL Misconceptions," I discussed the idea that too many choices don't necessarily lead to better outcomes. In fact, they can impede progress and create confusion when it comes to learning. Building on this concept at ACP, our goal during this refresh was to clearly define the specific areas of expertise that we focus on to help educators and leaders find workshops, tools, and resources for personal development and growth.
While everyone at Applied Coaching for Projects is guided by constructivist pedagogy, we acknowledge that this approach can encompass many methods. Therefore, we now offer clear and precise guidance to help our followers easily navigate and choose the most suitable offerings for their needs. Here are our areas of expertise:
In true ACP fashion, we offer additional learner-centered workshops that can stand alone or complement our expert areas. These workshops, such as those on 'Inquiry-Based Learning' or 'Differentiated & Scaffolded Instruction,' are designed to provide additional support and resources for educators and leaders.
What's in a Tagline
Our new tagline, 'Pedagogy with Purpose: Community, Compassion, Change.' encapsulates our core values and mission. It signifies our unwavering commitment to fostering a sense of community in education, approaching learning with compassion and understanding, building meaningful connections, and ensuring that our work has a personal or community impact and is of the highest quality. Watch our explainer video below to understand further what ACP stands for and how we embody these values.

What's Next
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our revamped website, designed to showcase our areas of expertise better, making it easier than ever to access our workshops, resources, and blog posts. For example, if you're interested in reading our blog post on project-based learning, we now have a dedicated category for that topic. This reorganization ensures that you can quickly find the information and support you need.
In addition to the website improvements, we are committed to increasing our output across various platforms. With a clearer vision of what we want to offer, you can expect more frequent and diverse content from us. This includes an increase in the output of blogs from our expanded ACP Team, more comprehensive resources, and new workshop offerings added to our services catalog. Our goal is to provide you with the tools and knowledge you need to excel in your educational journey.
