He currently works for PBLWorks helping teachers and leaders create engaging, learner-centered programs, and collaborates with informal educational organizations to reimagine their educational programs. A national park volunteer, James supports parks and museums nationwide in reimagining their educational offerings. His writing, featured in many blogs and books published by ISTE, highlights public lands as a teacher resource. He lives in the Twin Cities of Minnesota.
